A short lil thing I felt like writing because of this, cause @nunalastor gets the funniest anon prompt ideas and it seemed fun!

BREAKING NEWS: LOCAL CRIME REPORTER FOUND DEAD - WAS HE A VICTIM OF HIS OWN WORDS?

Yesterday, a local hunter stumbled upon a gruesome scene: A man dead in the woods, with a single bullet hole in his head. After reporting this discovery to the police, further investigation revealed the identity of the victim: Local radio host Al Astor (33), best known for his unique broadcast style. How did this come to be? Locals have a lot to say.

“He was a darling, sweet as they come,” Al’s neighbor said about the man in an exclusive interview. “His talk show was a bit too vulgar for my tastes, but he did play some wonderful music for me whenever I asked. The town won’t be the same without him.”

Another neighbor said, “He’s from here, everyone knows him. Near everyone likes him. He didn’t deserve what he got. Man wouldn't hurt a fly."

Not everyone had good things to say about the radio star, however. Many of the townspeople believe that his fate was inevitable, and claim that his death is no surprise. 

“You shoulda heard the guy, the way he talked about them (redacted) criminals,” One man says. “These are dangerous people he was taunting, and he didn’t seem to care one bit. Why would anyone that’s already out killin’ folks not target the guy that’s (redacted) all over them on live radio?”

While many of the townspeople believe that this could have been avoided by not provoking active serial killers, it seemed that the general consensus was that the Al was a delight to have around, despite his quirks and odd ways of reporting on local crime. Below you will find some key quotes from Al’s radio show that residents may believe set off the killer.

“Remember fellas! Murder is not what’ll be getting you jail time! Being stupid enough to leave bodies around to report on will be what gets you jail time! I do believe that your inevitable capture will boost my ratings, however…” 

“Now, have you all heard about the recent break-ins? I almost wish some lowlife would come after me… It’d be quite the story to tell!”

“Don’t forget! Jokes about killers on Death Row are not funny… Unless they’re executed properly.”

Police have released only one statement: “Whatever killer’s been plaguing our residents is clearly a very disturbed individual or group of individuals, and, for your own safety, it is not recommended to publicly ridicule or provoke them in any way.”

Family and friends of the deceased have made claims that local police have covered up details about the murder, though these accusations have not been proven.

I must admit something... I can't help it, I love First and Khao dearly but I'm finding myself not being even as 1/10 hyped for The Hearts Killer as I was for Not Me, Eclipse or even Only Friends. Like, idk what's that, the casting actors are good, the premise is interesting, some good effort put by prop department - and yet when I see bts pics, I just feel nothing (beside general Omg First with Tattoos, hot)

I guess I've been way too burned by GMM and specificslly Jojo stories D: Like, I want something good! But good and tight until the very end. And it most likely won't be, we all know what a mess OF was.

And it's another rom-com :') Like, all bts pics are just so obviously rom com with a sprinkle of action just for cool points, and there's nothing wrong with it, Jojo deserves to make the guys play out his AU fantasies and fans deserve to have fun and see firstkhao be all hearty eyes at each other, but...

I was raised with Not Me and Eclipse, both of which had really meaningful, strong political and society messages, morally gray characters fighting for freedom and equal rights, having emotional and strong chatacter growth with nice landing, and the execution held us all clenched until the very end ㅠㅠ I miss that experimental and bold era, and kinda afraid FirstKhao are gonna just get stuck into that cute-and-high-heat branded pair limbo...

You know, I secretly hope one day they'll have a project with P'Aof (but yeah he needs to rest so he can come back with a blast) and P'Waa (I only saw one-two series dorected by him and I almost have no questions, I need more amazingly executed BL projects by him). And imagine them working again with P'Golf 🥺

Anyway. Just a rant. I really miss watching Thai BL shows but I can't seem to find what I love anymore.

I’m playing Final Fantasy 5 for the first time and enjoying it so far! The job system and particularly the fact that you can use one skill or tiers of magic from another job is really fun! But anyway I’m REALLY GLAD this game doesn’t seem to have any romance beyond very minor ship teasing.

This is potentially a hot take but as much as I love the Final Fantasy series, it’s pretty bad at romance usually. The only good romances in FF are 7 and 10, personally. The rest are either underdeveloped/forced or outright bad.

chwe hansol + bickering over which christmas movie is superior wc: 672 warnings: vernon being a cutie, gets a little emotional at the end (i think) author's note: todays exam was shit. this was made in a haste. please bear with me (me for the 23456th time). but i kinda like it a little. also basically i've tweaked the prompt a little i guess. but this was the general idea. hope you like it <33 winter wonderland masterlist

"sol, stop sulking; it's been more than an hour now!"

hansol just huffs once more before crossing his arms across his chest and looking away. you walk over to him to sit beside him.

"it was just a silly debate, non. i didn't even mean it that seriously."

"silly?! you mean to tell me, that movies are silly?!" he mocks a hurt expression before pressing his palm to his chest to drive his point home. you can only roll your eyes at this drama queen of a boyfriend.

two hours ago, vernon posed a question that he explained was 'in the spirit of the holidays'.

"what's your favourite christmas movie?" he asked while you were looking at decoration ideas through pinterest for seungcheol's christmas bash.

you actually had to judge him for that. for asking you that question, when he very well knew the fact that you were: 1) not a movie person, and 2) not a holiday person (two things that emotionally hurts vernon every time you express it, he claims).

so without much thought, you say what could have been the worst answer anyone could ever give to a movie person who likes the holidays:

"i dont know; i never really cared."

vernon swears he heard something break into a million pieces at that moment. if he were half as dramatic as his best friend seungkwan was, he'd have faked a faint and fell to the floor with his hand to the forehead (you say this in detail because this has happened before - when you answered the same way when he asked what your favourite christmas song was).

you thank whoever is up there that your boyfriend is nonchalant.

but this answer was enough for your stoic boyfriend to pout (a pout!! that you has to resist kissing), and move to the other end of the couch, far away from you, with the same worked up expression as right now.

for a whole two hours, he stayed huffing and puffing across from you.

you try to get him to look at you, but when that doesn't work, you climb onto his lap and hold his face between your hands. his face felt cold to the touch, nose a pretty pink and lips still in a pout.

this time, you don't resist your urge to kiss.

you lean in and press a lingering kiss to his lips. you could feel him melt under you, leaning into you while trying to deepen the connection. when you pull away after some time, he rushes to chase your lips. you place a finger to his.

"sol," you take a breath and continue.

"i've never really celebrated the holidays before. i mean, we did have some quality family time during the meals, of course. but we've never shopped for ornaments, or decorated the tree and put up a star. i've never sat down with them to watch christmas movies."

you smile when you notice his nose become even red, and smooch it.

"so, i've never really found the appeal to it. i'm grateful for all the holidays i've had, i really am. but there are just some things i silently wish for at times."

he takes a deep breath and pulls you in for a hug.

"let me fulfill that wish for you. we're a family, you and i. we can make new traditions, you know? i've watched a lot of holiday movies, we can watch them together ever year. make it special with some wine, or some hot chocolate. some caramel popcorn. a warm blanket around us."

he pauses to smile before going on.

"and you'll fall asleep in the middle of it, but i won't wake you up because then i'll get to have your share of the popcorn too. and i can tease you about it till the next year, when we do more things to tease each other about."

vernon presses a chaste kiss to your lips.

"you and i can slowly make it our little thing, just like you've wanted."
